ホットケーキ

昨日は定休日。 それでも午前中に仕事の打ち合わせや用事を数件終わらせて、昼からはダラダラとしてしまいました…。 夕方、散歩の途中で喫茶店に入り、メニューで目にとまったのが「ホットケーキ」たぶんマクドナルドのホットケーキを除けば10年以上ぶりに食しました。 ホットケーキ…はまりそうです。 今日もアジサイがいっぱい！！

花は世界共通

最近、日本人以外の方が多く来てくれます。 場所柄か外国の方はよく見かけていたのですが今日は特に来店が多く、約半数は外国の方でした。 ほとんどの方は流暢に日本語を話されますが、いざという時に、もし自分が英語で接客でも出来ればと思うともっと勉強しておけばと思うばかりです…。 今から頑張ろうかなぁ…。

今日は朝の配達を済ませてからバタバタと開店準備。 懐かしい知人が訪ねてきていただいたり、赤ちゃんから小さいお子ちゃまといったかわいいお客様が来てくれたりと、にぎやかな日曜日。 週末は観葉植物を探しに来て下さるお客様が多く、植物を置く環境や好みを聞いたうえで提案させていただくのですが一つひとつ葉の表情や幹の曲がりなどが違うのでお客様が納得のいく出会いをしてもらえるように最大限努力させてもらっています。 人も植物も出会いを大事にしていきたいです。

窓オープン！

2011-10-01

10月に入り涼しくなってきましたので、窓をオープン！！ なんの事かというと、店の内装工事のときにシャッターがあった部分をガラスで閉じてしまうかスライドの窓にするかでかなり悩みました。 結果、3枚のスライドの窓にしたのですが、真夏のオープンだったため今まで開けることがなかったのですが今日ついに開けました！！ 外にいるお客様にも商品を手にとって見ていただけるし中の雰囲気も良くわかり入り易くなったはず。 この窓がどんな活躍をしてくれるか楽しみです！ 店の栗がいい感じ！ 秋を感じております。

故郷の味

昨晩は実家の親が送ってくれた材料で山形の郷土料理“芋煮”をつくってもらいいただきました。 実家にいたころは、川原で火を起こして友人達と“芋煮会”をしたものでした。 画像はやさしいピンクが素敵な“コスモス” 結婚記念日に23本のバラの花束“バラ　ピンクテディ”

火曜日は定休日にしているのですが、配達や予定が入れば営業している日もあり、今日も営業しております。 火曜日にしかお店の前を通らない人がいたりして新しいお客様が多く来ていただけます。 イレギュラーの営業も良いものですね。

世の中は三連休の最終日。 近くに大学があるので駅から大学へ向かう人で、いつもは店の前の人通りが多いのですが、今日は静かな日曜日です。 いろんな葉っぱを撮ってみました。 みずみずしいつやのある葉っぱ　“スウェーデンアイビー” 葉が外巻きに丸まっていて、毛羽立った手触りのある“フィカス・クリシュナ” こちらもクルクルとカールした“フィカス・バロック” ハート型の葉っぱが可愛らしい“ボンバックス”
